Meet the Teacher
Golda attained her Bachelors of Fine Arts degree from Savannah College of Art and Design. She has her Masters in the Art of Teaching from University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She also attained her certificate in Sustainable Design from the NYC Fashion Institute of Technology. She was fascinated by alternative approaches to education during her graduate studies. This lead her to Japan, observing the influence of John Dewey and his process-oriented theories in their primary schools. That influence can be seen in her practical lessons that incorporate creative thinking.
She is currently raising her two children in Asheville, NC.
